Cecilia Romero is a Los Angeles-based professional artist and muralist who has been bringing her colorful creations to city streets, residential properties, and businesses for over a decade. With a strong belief in the healing power of art, both on an individual level and within the community, Cecilia draws inspiration from her inner child, as well as her love of travel, animals, people, and music. Her work is well-known throughout Los Angeles, California, and Mexico for its vibrant colors and uplifting themes.

Cecilia's passion for the arts began at an early age, thanks to her parents' support of the arts, and her upbringing in a city filled with art galleries and museums. As she grew, so did her artistic expression and skill. Drawn to portraiture in her teenage years, Cecilia fell in love with drawing dramatic portraits of humans and animals. At the age of 20, she was offered her first wall to paint, which proved to be a turning point in her artistic development. It nurtured her creative vision and catalyzed her career as a muralist, inspiring her signature use of vibrant colors.

Cecilia's portfolio of work includes murals for major brands and companies such as Visa, Twitch, Estrella Jalisco, and Knotel. Her mural of a local South LA hero for Estrella Jalisco was featured on a news segment on "Good Day LA," Fox 11 News, in 2020. Her art has also been featured on the cover of Downtown LA News Magazine. Cecilia has participated in the Akumal Arts Festival in the Mexican Caribbean for three years, connecting with the community and painting her first school mural in Akumal in 2019. In 2021, she designed and painted another school mural at Hillcrest Drive Elementary in Los Angeles.

With a focus on uplifting communities through public art, Cecilia encourages younger generations to express their inner creativity while spreading hope and inspiration through her vibrant and colorful creations. She continues to work with private clientele, galleries, local businesses, offices, and brands, building an expansive and diverse portfolio of murals and canvases.
