"World Of Wonder" was created for Hillcrest Drive Elementary’s dual language building. This mural was inspired by imagination and wonder for the natural world around us. Channeling Cecilia’s own inner child when creating this, she wanted to portray the magical vision and purity of children's perception and creative wonder. Cecilia’s goal was to transform the dual language building into a fun, uplifting atmosphere that supports learning and embraces multicultural backgrounds. She incorporated the element of flight with the birds and butterflies to represent freedom of imagination. She also incorporated a book in this composition with butterflies emerging out of it to portray this world of wonder embraced by the children's creative curiosity. The sun in the middle of this composition represents this imaginative world arising and coming to life. Cecilia hopes that this mural, "World Of Wonder", sheds uplifting creative energy onto the children and staff of Hillcrest Drive Elementary for many generations to come!

Guardián de la jungla (‘Jungle Guardian’)
This mural was done for the Akumal Arts Festival in November 2019 at the secondary school in Akumal, Mexico. This was the second mural Cecilia has painted for this mural festival that is located in the Caribbean part of Mexico. Cecilia's mural design was influenced and inspired by the first jungle adventure she had back in 2018. She was also inspired by the rich history of Mayan land and culture in Akumal. The portrait in the middle is of a mayan goddess who represents the guardian of the jungle. Her jaguars at her sides represent strength and the embodiment of the jungle. The mayans worshiped jaguars as the rulers of the underworld, night and day. This was Cecilia's first school mural and she can't wait to bring more art to other schools around the globe!
